Boutique hotel “Nine Dragons” was planned in the immediate neighbourhood of the Forbidden City. Taking inspiration form the intense colours and atmospheric light of Chinese opera the hotel was intended to convey comfort and sophistication as well as provide its guests with a sense of privacy. The building is organised around two courtyards complete with water cascades, lily ponds and lush gardens.
